There are a number of aspects of the Privacy Act which clubs should be aware of when they handle personal information. Its not difficult, but its worth doing properly.
The aim of this article is to help you evaluate the needs and constraints of your club, help you select a system based on that evaluation, and give suggestions for tools and systems which have worked for other clubs.
Clubs will only survive over time, if new members are regularly joining as older members leave.
All communities rely on teaching and mentoring young members for the future success of the community. Tramping clubs and outdoor groups are no different.
