Bruce Hopkins takes his father and brother’s ashes back home to Stewart Island. But he’s taking the long way there; via Te Araroa.
The Long Way Home is a podcast series about the stories from the track; about the mix of people he meets – hunters , towns people, TA hikers, kiwi holiday trampers and farmers. There are also his observations & ravings, both of the negative & the positive varieties as he makes his way into the challenging and stunningly beautiful belly our homeland.
He produced the podcast as he went, and as he continued south, Bruce met numerous people who were hooked on tuning in for the latest episodes; we’re sure that a few of you will find them equally enjoyable.
