The Canterbury University Tramping Club (CUTC) is one of the largest sports clubs at the University of Canterbury. It was formed in the 1930s for the pursuit of outdoor activities, primarily tramping and a bit of mountaineering. Most members are students, staff or recent UC graduates.
The CUTC is responsible for the infamous TWALK event, a crazy 24-hour event that has been running for over 50 years.
The club also offers weekly trips, instruction courses, weekly meetings, cheap gear hire, social trips, our own hut, environmental awareness, social meetings and a whole heap more.
